How do you decide what type of magazine you would like to subscribe to? There are several questions you might want to ask yourself before you begin to even look at your options. The first is, who will be the main reader of this magazine? Will it be you? Your spouse? Your children? Your business or office? The answer to this question will centre heavily on the choice you ultimately decide to make when choosing a subscription.

There are an ever increasing number of magazines to choose from out there, and this gives you limitless choices, and even choices within choices. This can be a daunting task when you look at it this way, but remember that this should not make it harder. It should in fact make it that much easier. If you have something specific in mind, such as a Windsor storage magazine , then you will have not one self storage magazine to choose from, but most likely hundreds. This goes for any category of magazine out there.

There are certain categories that best selling magazines fall into. The top 10 of these includes

Men specific magazines

Women specific magazines

Entertainment magazines

Television magazines

Home magazines

Business magazines

News magazines

Childrens magazines

Fashion magazines

Travel magazines

Do not despair if you do not see your favourite category listed here. If you have specific needs that maybe do not fit under any of these or even in the top 50 most popular magazines, it does not matter. You can still find that self storage magazine that you wanted, and a self storage magazine that is not just a book of ads, but one that caters to exactly what you want. You can find that do it yourself magazine that fits every need you have. The cooking magazine that you want, which features specific foods that you and your family like, is most likely out there somewhere.

When deciding which magazine to subscribe to, try reading customer reviews first. When these are available, they help you by providing a non biased opinion about a certain subject or magazine in particular, giving you a truer understanding of whether you want to choose this magazine above others. Newspapers and other magazines may have these customer reviews, but most likely you will find the best luck online.

Because of fierce competition in the world of media, magazines and newspapers find themselves trying to cater to everyone, offering extremely general information and articles, with no particular niche of interest that one can find. These are generally speaking the big name magazines that are better known. Keep this in mind when you are making your decision, as this may seem exciting at first, but if you are looking for something with more depth, it will probably not fit your needs later on. An example of this is someone who is interested in basketball, but not particularly other sports. In a case like this, the reader might be tempted to purchase a subscription to a well known sports magazine that covers all areas of sports, but it will probably not be a very enjoyable read down the road if only a small portion of the magazine is dedicated to basketball and the reader finds himself wishing he had looked for a magazine specifically about that sport.
