Planning a wedding and planning a move is not the easiest task to undertake but Macy was excited even while she was overwhelmed. Between looking at houses with her fiancé and looking at dresses with her mother it seemed that there was not one day that she did not have a meeting with some vendor or realtor or having to make a decision about something. Her calendar was her constant companion during this time.

While there were still so many decisions to be made about the wedding and she was still searching for the wedding dress that was ‘the one’ they had found a house that was just what they were looking for. Their first house together was exactly what they wanted. It was a three bedroom two bath townhouse in a great neighborhood that was close to some of their favorite shops and restaurants and as there were both about to find out it was also located near a great Elizabeth Gardens, Ontario self storage unit.

So while she still had to nail down details about the wedding she was done house hunting and now instead of pounding the pavement looking for a house she could box and pack and label boxes to head over to their new home. It was a little more time consuming but it was something that her friends could at least help her with. After all isn’t that what bridesmaids are for?

When both Macy’s apartment and her fiancés apartments cleared out and cleaned up they could work on unpacking and putting together their new house. Who knew that it would be such a difficult undertaking getting the two apartments into one house? Macy was beginning to realize that they also had a lot of stuff. She was not sure where it had all come from but there just seemed to be boxes of stuff that needed to find a place to go and boxes of doubles of stuff that they had two sets of.

When they saw the nearby Elizabeth Gardens self storage facility Macy thought that that was the answer to their problems. They could move all of the boxes of odds and ends out of the home office space and into a storage unit. They could get the extra furniture out of the guest bedroom and for the time being they could just concentrate on finishing the wedding plans.

After the wedding was over and the honeymoon was past and life began to return to a normal pace once again they could decide if they wanted to sell some stuff off or perhaps even continue renting their Elizabeth Gardens storage unit. For now they would use the space as a temporary solution and have the majority of their unpacking compete and their house put together.

It can sometimes be difficult adjusting and making two lives fit together as one as Macy and her new husband found out but it is also some of the best times in life for a couple. Creating memories that will last for a life time and getting to enjoy the newly married honeymoon phase of a relationship. The rest was literally just stuff and it would work itself out and if not thanks to their self storage unit they had a place to keep it until then.
