Dream Home Becomes Reality with Self Storage
-
Kent loved to work on his house. He was a first time home buyer and he loved his old ranch style house. The house was in the neighborhood that he had grown up in and he remembered when the house was in its prime. When he moved back to town after being away at college and after working several years he was surprised to see the house with a for sale sign. When he asked his realtor about the house being up on the market he assured him that he would not want the house. Kent insisted on seeing it though, and as soon as he saw the house he knew that it was just what he was looking for. He put in an offer and entered into negotiations.
Kent began to attend trade shows around the area and attend any home improvement fair that he could find in the area. He was going to restore the house to better than he remembered it being and bring back the character and charm that he house deserved. At one of the trade shows he was surprised to see a booth for a self storage company. It was not something that he had ever considered but he began to think of all of the possibilities that he could get by adding a Cundles, Ontario self storage unit to his home renovation project.
The day that he signed the contract to buy the house he also signed up for a Cundles self storage unit. He had already packed most of his stuff away so he got busy finishing his packing and taking the majority of his stuff to the Cundles storage unit. The only thing that he was taking to his new house was his bed, his tools, and his clothes. With all of the work and renovations waiting for him there was noting else that he needed.
Kent could not wait to begin the renovations, and all of the stuff that he learned from the trade shows and fairs were really going to help him get started. He started with the main floor that held the living room, the kitchen, a bathroom, and the dining room. It was the main floor of the house and needed a lot of attention since it had been the most used.
As the walls were painted, the cracks repaired, the floors sanded and everything put back together Kent knew that he had made the right decision in buying the house. It was turning out even better than he had expected.
Soon Kent was able to move onto the top floor where there were two guest bedrooms, a bathroom, and the master suite. These rooms seemed much easier to renovate. Maybe he was getting better at doing the home renovations, or maybe bedrooms were just easier than kitchens.
Last but not least was the basement. It was unfinished but Kent had grand plans for the space. The laundry area was going to be revamped, and the half bath was getting a complete overhaul. The rest of the unfinished space was getting turned into a TV room.
The renovations were complete and Kent was able to finally move all of his stuff from his Cundles self storage unit into his newly restored home. It was better than he had ever dreamed of.
